【Huey Deng High School (Yilan): Full-Time ESL Foreign Teacher Wanted】

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Foreign English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate specializes in teaching English writing and is dedicated to creating an immersive learning environment.

You will work with Junior High School students to strengthen their overall English abilities, with a specific focus on improving written and reading proficiency.

Huey Deng High School No. 88, Xiejin Rd., Yuanshan Township, Yilan County

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly Salary: NT$69,000 (Covers up to 100 periods per month).

Overtime Pay: NT$600 per period (for classes beyond the base 100).

Paid Leave: 1 Month paid holiday (August).

Public Holidays: All Taiwan national holidays are observed.

Schedule

Work Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 08:05 – 17:05 (8 hours/day)

Job Description & Duties

Collaborative Teaching: Conduct ESL classes alongside Taiwanese co-teachers for Junior High School students.

Holistic Development: Utilize diverse instructional methods to enhance students' confidence, interest in learning, and overall language skills.

Active Engagement: Foster a positive English learning atmosphere by participating in school activities, exhibitions, performances, and special projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

Native English speaker from a country where English is the official/common language.

Bachelor's degree or higher (Education or English-related majors preferred).

State-issued teaching license or relevant teaching certificate (e.g., TEFL/TESOL).

Valid ARC or APRC.
